After being called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2005, Naz returned to Karachi and joined Rizvi, Isa, Afridi & Angell (now RIAA Barker & Gillette). She primarily assisted the firm's partners with corporate and commercial matters there.

 

Naz has been an advocate of the High Court of Pakistan since 2009. She joined the firm in 2016 to support the Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice, focusing on drafting documents for litigation proceedings for foreign and local clients in tribunals and courts across Pakistan, including the Supreme Court. Additionally, she appears before various courts and tribunals in Pakistan.

 

 

 



• Represented clients in rent cases before the Rent Controller and Subordinate Courts

• Represented clients in family cases, guardian and wards cases and succession matters

• Represented clients in a range of disputes involving family and property

• Conducts research and prepares all documentation with respect to litigation proceedings in tribunals and courts of Pakistan, including the Supreme Court of Pakistan

• Drafts suits, petitions, appeals, written statements, replies, counter affidavits, rejoinders and all supporting applications for foreign and local companies, partnerships, authorities and private individuals with respect to litigation proceedings relating to Environmental law, Constitutional law, Family law, Succession Law, Property Law, Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law
