International Trademark Association


International Trademark Association (“INTA”) is an international association founded in 1878 comprising individuals, companies and firms dealing with intellectual property matters.  Since then, INTA has grown into a global community, with members around the world and offices in multiple regions. INTA’s membership comprises nearly 6,500 organizations from 185 countries. These organizations represent more than 34,350 professionals, including brand owners from major corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, law firms, and non-profits.

Association of the European Trade Mark Owners


Association of The European Trade Mark Owners (“Marques”) is a European association representing the interests of brand owners since 1986. From that time MARQUES has built an enviable reputation as a highly respected and influential brand owners association.

Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group


Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (“PTMG”) is a not for profit organisation founded in 1970. The primary objective of PTMG is to enable members to meet at regular intervals to consider problems of mutual interest. It does this by running educational conferences relating to the law and practice of trademarks and other intellectual property particularly as they affect pharmaceutical and related industries.

International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property


International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (“AIPPI”) is an international association not-for-profit association dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property. It is a politically neutral, non-profit organization, based in Switzerland with about 9000 members worldwide from more than 125 countries.  Members of AIPPI are individuals interested in intellectual property protection on a national or international level and comprise of individuals including Lawyers, Patent Attorneys and Trademark Agents as well as judges, scientists, engineers, and corporations, dealing with intellectual property matters.

Asian Patent Attorneys Association


Asian Patent Attorneys Association (“APAA”) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting and enhancing intellectual property protection in the Asian region (including Australia and New Zealand). Membership of APAA is open to individuals practising the profession of patent attorney in the Asian region as well as organisations which comprise such individuals and are constituted in the Asian region. The association now has more than 2,500 members from 21 Recognised Groups in Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as from Bhutan, Brunei, Laos and Mongolia.

Inter-Pacific Bar Association


Inter-Pacific Bar Association ("IPBA") is an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live in, or otherwise have a strong interest in, the Asia-Pacific Region. It was established in April 1991 at an organizing conference held in Tokyo attended by more than 500 lawyers from countries within the Asia-Pacific Region. Since then, it has grown to become the preeminent legal association in this Region, with membership drawn from throughout the world, and currently has over 1,500 members from over 65 jurisdictions worldwide.
