Muhammad Wajid Munir Advocate of the High Court

Wajid is an Advocate of the High Court and has been primarily involved in matters related to corporate and commercial law.

Wajid regularly appears before High Courts, District Courts, Banking Courts, National Industrial Relations Commission, Federal Services Tribunal, and other Administrative Tribunals to represent clients in matters related to services, civil, commercial, labor and energy laws.

He is a member of Punjab Bar Council, Islamabad Bar Association, and Rawalpindi Bar Association.

  • Advised Liberty Wind Power 1 (Private) Limited, Liberty Wind Power 2 (Private) Limited, NASDA Green Energy (Private) Limited, and Indus Wind Energy Limited on the setting up, construction and operation of 50 MW Wind Power Project at Jhimpir, District Thatta, Province of Sindh, Pakistan.
  • Advised Master Green Energy Limited on the setting up, construction and operation of 50 MW Wind Power Project at Jamshoro District, Province of Sindh, Pakistan.
  • Representing a multinational confectionery company in Consumer Protection Court, Rawalpindi.
  • Representing a London based law firm in an execution proceeding in District Court, Islamabad.
  • Represented a multinational industrial services company in an employment related matter.

  • Wajid has authored various research papers and book chapters on environmental law and governance. He has also presented research papers at international conferences, workshops and colloquia including the one organised by Yale Law School at the National University of Singapore in 2018.
  • Wajid is an adjunct faculty member at International Islamic University, Islamabad. He has taught Labor Law, Administrative Law, Interpretation of Statutes, and Constitutional Law at Bahria University and International Islamic University.
